God, I love hockey...

I've been watching my 17-year-old brother try out for a Junior 'A' team this weekend. In one game, he hit a kid so hard the guy was literally crying...got carried off and didn't come back...and it was a CLEAN hit. In the next game, a guy tried to extract some revenge for the kid who got hurt...and my brother fed him at least 10 good rights followed by a couple of left hooks....messed his face up nicely. Watching rock-em, sock-em hockey is great under any circumstances, but when it's your little bro (well, he's 6'1", 206lbs and lean, so he's not THAT little) mixing it up, it's downright euphoric! :D

(BTW...he was invited back for the final evaluation starting next weekend...so he's very close to making the team)
