No, this will not be a bodybuilding website. My wife is an aspiring fitness model and just had a photo shoot with Rob Sims a few weeks ago. We want to start a website to get her name out.

I'll build it for you, for a price.

Thanks for the offer. My wife is capable of working with Dreamweaver, but I was wondering if there was something out there not as expensive (like Yahoo starter kit?). Also how does one register/acquire a domain name?

go to google do some searching/reading. You can build a basic site with dreamweaver, so that should be enough. You gotta register a domain name, find a host, build the site thats pretty much it.

Stick with the Dreamweaver. That's the best way to make you site the way you want it. PC users prefer Microsoft Frontpage, but whatever works for you better. You just need an HTML editor.

Do you know of a good host where I can build the website on? Do you recommend that we get a broadband connection or would dialup be OK? I appreciate all the help! You guys are the best!!!

I heard cable is 3x faster than broadband. Is this true? I'm thinking of either sbc yahoo dsl or comcast cable.
