West Palm Beach Gyms..

Well, the job up in Philly did not pan out, so I am going to take a position down in FL (buh, buh, mah fukin new jersy)..

I am going down this afternoon to look for an apartment and shit, but I would like to check some gyms out too.. If anyone has any advice for places I should check out let me know.. I am going to be working right off Clematis St in West Palm, so something close to that would be nice.

Well, west palm is a very expensive area. Most gyms there will run over $1000 a year and most are "Fitness Clubs". lol. Hollywood and Ft. Lauderdale arent far away though and there are many gyms there that are alot better and cheaper.

One word of advice, South Beach is about 40 minutes from west palm so I know you wont be working out there when your at work. But if you ever go there to hang out or whatever, dont workout! The gays are in the South Beach gyms in droves!! lol

Been to South Beach a few times and would never work out there. lol. Its a great place but the fags our everywhere. No offence.

There is this place in South Beach real close to Giani Vercasi (sp?) old house that is an all gay club. We walked by one day and there were at least 700 gay dudes all in line. Sounded like a bunch of women talking. lol. There were also a brand new lambo and brand new ferrai right out front.

As for West Palm, I use to live there (7 years ago) and trained at a couple of Gold's gyms in the area. Those are prolly your best bets - check the golds web site for addys.

There is a Golds right down the steet from the apt that I am going to rent.. It looks good, and that's probably where I am going to join.

I looked at one of the trendy gyms right near center city, but its expensive as hell, and it does not have that much in the way of equiptment. I want to go where there are big guys working out, it gives me motivation.
