As far as you situation goes, I would allow her some time to deal with what ever she is going through. She is not going to get over that kind of stuff overnight. A couple of things I would watch out for: Does she have a history of dating assholes? Is this guy still around, calling or harrassing her?

This actual attack happened 6 months ago, he is around but he is a scrawny piece of shit that would not in his wildest dream think of fucking with me. Not only am I fairly big boy, I have actually fought a couple of his friends back in the day and wiped the floor with them, I think I was only like 165lbs back then..I'm close to 225 now. Not to brag about being tuff or big, I just think he wouldnt try and fuck with her knowing I'm around. The last day of court could be tomarrow, I will know later in the day what the result is.

I knew a girl who's guy was always roughing her ass up every so often. She would show up with some bruises and i'd ask her about it, and she would lie. Show'd up one day with a black eye and then I knew what was up. I purposely bumped into his ass at a party just to make an excuse to beat his ass. He didn't want to do the damn thing til his boys showed. Fucked up thing is, that after I tore into him, who'd she end up going home with...him. So I just gave up on her. I know he'll stay at bay with you around, but I would still want to face plant his ass in the dirt. :breakit:

That is why I was asking if she has a history of dating assholes. Some girls can't do it any other way. They gravitate toward guys that treat them like shit. If they do end up with a good guy that treats them with respect they get bored quickly and go back to what they know. The girl I was talking about earlier in this thread had this tough guy ex that would not go away...he used to rough her up when they were together. One day I ran into him and KO'd his ass. Yup, they're out there. Girls who need to be handled like that. She got pissed at me as she was helping him off the floor. One of his boys got destroyed by one of my buddy's. He speared his ass into a table and was mashing away on his face. Yea, the girl I knew is still with him. She skipped her brothers wedding because her family wouldn't let him come to it. I don't think soprano is in the same boat though. His girl is in court trying to get away from the fucker.

he was found guilty yesterday of assualt and criminal mischief, he appealed it of course

over the last few days everything has gone extremely well, dinner with my parents out with my friends everybody loves this girl, and she has seemed to almost completely stop talking about her x. We talked sat night and decided to date. Todays her b-day, I sent her a dosen roses I wanted to keep it simple, we have only been hanging out for two weeks
