  • Get set for another one Fl

Hurricane Francis is on it's way. Supposed to make landfall at the Fl/Georga border sometime this coming weekend. Right now it is a catagory 3 or borderline 4 storm.

Someone told me the other day all these cool fronts we are having in Texas are pushing the storms off the gulf towards Florida instead of aiming up at Galveston or Corpus

Hirricane season sounds like a good excuse for a road trip!

I tell you what if this thing makes a path more toward where i am which is 15-20 mile north of Punta gorda. I am boarding up and heading up north for the weekend. The last one was to close and i don't think my family wants to stick it out.

                              Smart move IMO

Everything depends on the pressure system to the east of the hurricane, if it retreats the hurricane will move east as well, but if it (the pressure system) continues to push west...so does the hurricane, which ultimately spells trouble for us. Either way Florida will feel its effects, but the less the better.
