GTO Project Car

This was a project car for the GTO that the younger engineers at GM were allowed to create. Some people are trying to speculate that it is a prototype of the Judge. Take it for what you will, I just thought I'd post some pictures.

That would be cool if they did make a judge option, but I highly doubt it. It'll probably just stay a concept car. A ram air 389 cube ls1 huh? That's even more than the new corvettes are getting. I wonder what the horsepower rating will come out at.

I know the GTO's here are made by Holden, but I don't think this is a production car anywhere. It was just a project car for the GM Engineers which they showes at the Woodward cruise in. This car has the new LS2 and was said to be rated at 500hp.

The new C6's are starting to hit the streets and are coming with the LS2 with 400hp. The 2005 GTO and 2005 SSR's are all coming with the 400hp version of the LS2 supposedly.

Pontiacs have to be the biggest pieces of shit I've ever seen or had the displeasure of working on. Quality of parts, fit & finish of interior, workmanship and engineering are in my opinion the worst bar none. Just do a little search on Grand Am/Grand Prix and marvel at the hundreds of pages of lemons/recalls and horror stories.
