He wouldn't have had a chance. The gator would have grabbed him at the water's edge and dragged him into deeper water where it drowned him. After he was dead, the gater then would have grabbed hold of him and rolled to tear off pieces to swallow. He was dismembered AFTER he was dead.

Actually the gator would not have eaten him right away! After the guy was dead the gator would have tucked him away under a rock or something under water so he would soften up! Let him marinate so to speak!
