Shit, we had no cable modem or home phone for 2 days.

The electric stayed on, a few trees went down on the block no big deal

We found a bar that was open last night and had a few. I had to get the fuck out of the house.

My cable/roadrunner just came on at about 5pm today. That along with the power, went out on Sunday at noon. Thankfully the power came back on 14hrs later. I'm not bitching though, I could be one of the unfortunate souls that is still without power from Charley. This state is a fkn mess right now!

On a good note (?), if historical trends and predictions are correct, Ivan should miss Florida, but this hasn't been a typical year so you never know.
