I picked up my daughter early from school because she's got a cold and is misserable. She asked to stop at 7-11 for cream soda, which they never have but I stop anyway. So, she picks out pineapple Fanta and some of their fried chicken burrito things. She offers me a sip of soda before she takes any and I'm like...damn, this stuff tastes great! Then I take a bite of her junk food burrito and omg...it tasted so damn good! Why does all the crap food have to be so yummy? Grrrrrrrrrr!

LOL Poor kid really is sick! Fever, coughing, runny nose, etc. We don't eat much junk food here so I guess it's her comfort food.
I better not catch this damn thing either! I ate an orange and a grapefruit today to get some extra vitamins.Comment

She also loves school and hates it when she can't go. She actually asked me if I'd take her back to school for last period but I told her to stay home and rest.
She just got her report card...2 B's, a B+, and 3 A's. One of the B's should have been an A but she forgot to hand in a couple of homework assignments. I was so proud of her achievement. Not bad for a kid with ADHD! :DComment

My little sis is a big brat. She always says she has a sore throat so she can either stay home from school or not go away with the family. (she then stays with nanny, who let's her do anything because she is in her room the whole time).
They took her to the doc and the asshole told her that a sore throat is not a big deal and she can still go out and play with her friends. So, now she stays home from school, but then goes out with her friends afterwards. Worse thing is, this is pretty sneaky because you can't prove that someone doesn't have a sore throat. Of course, I told her she should stop lying all of the time because God knows she is lying. She almost started crying. Didn't stop her though.Comment

I can identify with craving high-calorie foods while being zapped with a cold....I do the same thing. I find that if I eat an insanely high number of calories, and sleep as much as humanly possible, my colds go away much faster than when I eat and sleep normally.Comment
