or a wreck, I don't know which sounds less life threatning. A guy pulled out in front of me trying to cross the main road I was traveling on. I turned hard left seeing no oncoming traffic and slamed my front right corner into the wheel well area on his left side. Luckily the speed limit there is only 35mph so it wasn't a tremendous impact. I drive a 91 Silverado and it was around a 97 (maybe newer) S-10. The left front quarter panel area on the S-10 was pushed in about one foot to a foot and a half, while my truck only had minor fender damage, a bent bumper and a bent corner on the hood and is quite drivable :D

I had a similar incident in my friends car. She had a Talon and as she came to a stop we got rear ended. I guess the sedan (don't remember exactly what it was, but it was old) hit us just right because it was all fucked up. Not a single thing was wrong with her car, but the other persons was smashed to hell, radiator fluid all over, smoking, and had no power.Originally posted by beefcake
Hope that dumbass learns a lesson from that. Would be even better if yours got no damage and his got massacred. :agree:

Well I got a copy of the police report and it's all good. The guy got a citation for failure to yeild and the witness' statement was completey in my favor. If they come to me to sign a release statement, should I throw out a magic number for my signiture? If so how much?

I'll do that today. I don't have any problems, but whiplash symptoms can occur days after an accident :D. I can also get my physical therapy for free, but I'm sure there is a usual price to it. It's just not worth it to me to miss the gym for a few weeks if I have to claim it and stuff. I don't want to deal with insurance fraud. I do know that the money they can put out initially to release them of liability, can be a nice deal for doing nothing.
