In the abscence of real leaders the country will elect anyone that says the right thing. Kind of sounds like our country. Nobody can see that dems and rebs. are the same exact thing so they just vote for who says the right thing at the right time. and our rebuplicans are getting closer and closer to the "nazi" party line.

So true. And that's why they're attracting all kinds of people. No matter they are democrats or republicans. They are attracted b/c G.W. looks charismatic in some folks eyes. Hell, he looked charismatic in my eyes in the first election. But I don't see that now. IMO, we're better off with a general in office. I can name some former generals that were great presidents. We've had Washington, Franklin Pierce who was a brigadier general during the Mexican War, Grant, Benjamin Harrison who was a brevet brigadier general during the Civil War, and Eisenhower. And these men were all great leaders of our nation.

It's interesting how the French and Germans put up the most opposition to us going to Iraq. I have mixed feelings about it myself, but I get tired of their self righteous attitudes. The French have never been able to defend themselves, much less anyone else. If it weren't for us, France would be a colony of Germany today. And the Germans don't exactly have a history of "nonaggression". Hypocrites!:D
