I felt the same way when I saw the nick berg video & people jumping out of the twin towers.......it just brings out anger & sadness & hate & makes you feel worse that you cant really do anything about it.....but what goes around ALWAYS comes around. They will get theirs 10 fold

I don't know why I am curious enough to even open these video clips, but some part of me always wants to see it. I don't know if it's because I want to remind myself how fkn ruthless and savage these people are or just some sick personal curiousity.

I also think I am pretty desensitized when it comes to horror, violence etc...but this beheading video was hard for me to watch. I actually turned my head and turned off the volume. It is absolutely brutal. You can hear him gasping and gurgling even after they remove his head. WTF...why are these people still there? I think for the first time EVER in my adult life, I have been left feeling very unnerved after watching something of this nature.

thats why im gonna persure my career in criminal justice and go into law enforcement. I wanna protect my country, state, and city, and my people. No one messes with us. Not only with the terror but from the psycholitc people that live here in the US, also the srime people, stop the vioence and maybe people might follow into realizing whats bad is bad. This world need a clean up.

Man Slashes 25 Children at Chinese School

BEIJING - A man slashed 25 children with a kitchen knife Monday at a grade school in eastern China and held a 9-year-old girl hostage for an hour before police captured him, the government said.

It was the third time in six weeks that a knife attack has been reported at a Chinese school or day care center. The earlier attacks left one child dead, injured a total of 42 people and caused widespread concern about school safety.

It isn't clear whether such violence is increasing or whether communist leaders are letting the state-controlled media report more assaults in schools.

In the latest incident, in Ying County in Shandong province, the attacker was identified as the father of a girl at the school who had a quarrel with another resident, the Xinhua News Agency reported.

Jia Qingyou, 37, went looking for the other resident at the school when he dropped off his own daughter; when he couldn't find the person, he began attacking students, the report said.

Xinhua didn't give any details of the quarrel or say how badly injured the students were. It also didn't say whether Jia's daughter or classmates were among the injured.

Jia took a girl hostage, but "after an hour of effort by police, she was successfully rescued," Xinhua said without elaborating.

China has suffered rising crime and violence as the government has loosened social controls over the past two decades. Many towns seethe with personal grudges and business disputes, aggravated by wrenching economic and social changes, that can erupt into bombings, poisonings and other violence.

Most gun ownership in China is illegal but explosives, knives and other weapons are readily available.

In the worst recent school violence, an employee with a history of schizophrenia killed one student and slashed 14 others and three teachers on Aug. 4 at a Beijing kindergarten.

The school is located within a half-mile of the compound where President Hu Jintao and other leaders live, but it wasn't clear whether any children of senior officials were involved.

China's leadership takes pains to portray the country and its capital as a safe place where an increasingly well-off population benefits from economic reforms.

But serial murders, gangland bombings and mass poisonings in recent years threaten to undermine that image.

In another recent attack, a 41-year-old man slashed 28 children at a day care center in the eastern city of Suzhou. Police said he was captured as he was preparing to ignite gasoline and homemade explosives.

None of the children was seriously injured.

Police said there was no indication why the man attacked the day care center, which mostly served children of migrant workers.

im right there with you. to many american men and women have died for nothing. that country will never have peace, it will go on forever. Something has to end it.

Yeah we need to pull out of the middle east and let them kill each other for a change. I can't believe that the Govt can't see that yet. Countrys change when they become enlightened. That is what is so great about the begginning of our country. We had a large percentage of great minds leave the oppresive european countries and come here and start this great nation. Obviously that will never happen again because there is no place to "start" a new country anymore. But we have to realize the process is through education not occupation. We need to lead by example and even that is gone these days. The US has lost its identity as a leader. We are still the most powerful and all that jazz but it doesn't mean squat if our moral and economic compass is all fucked up.

I don't believe that anymore. I think we are there now because bush had a complex about doing what his father couldn't and now it has turned into a "honor" situation. I think he is worried he will look like a pussy if he pulls out of the situation. He fucked up and can't admit it. and now they have made the situation anyone that disagrees with being there is not considered "patriotic" so even the dems have jumped on his back. A bunch of grown men can't even say when they were wrong. Pretty much sums up our Govt.
