It seems they've been going up and down, up and down. If they continue going up, im gonna need a new job to afford it, the price here is 1.90 per gallon (regular). I remember during the Desert Storm War, the prices were high. But around the year 1998-1999 the lowest here was 75 cents per gallon. I miss those days, with 8-9 bucks used to fill up my car. Now with 20 bucks i filled up a while ago, only went 3/4 of a full tank.:(

It will be a little while before that happens. We already know how to remove Hydrogen molecules from water but it is not perfected at this point. The internal combustion engine is a remarkable invention, it's going to take a perfect replacement to change an alternate method to the primary method. I'm all for alternate means though, it will surely change the way of the world when we do go to Hydrogen (and we will). It is an inexhaustable supply of fuel considering 2/3 of the world is H2O.Originally posted by stonecold54
support research into alternative power sources and I gurantee gas prices will drop.
