My Boxer puppy just pissed on the leather couch.

He has been potty trained for about 5 months now. Its actually my fault because I hadnt taken him out since about noon and he was whinning at the door. Next thing I know he was up on the couch and I see piss running down the front of the couch!! lol. I couldnt yell at him though since he did try and tell me he had to go out. I just didnt listen.

I do take him on rides but I kinda get nervous with him in the car. If I were to get in an accident he would be gone. But ya I do take him for rides and he loves it.

Thanks for the compliments on him also. I love this dog like he is my son. When people give him compliments I am like a proud father. haha. He turns 8 months old on the 28th.

My parents recently bought a boxer puppy (female) as well......they are intellignet and very active dogs....

they share a common ancestor w/my dog's breed; the barenbeiser

I don't think most dogs would like it much, but they have a harnest for dogs that straps into the seatbelt, so the seatbelt helps hold the dog while driving. I have a small dog and several times I have had the slam the brakes and he has gone from the seat to the floorboard in the blink of an eye. Makes me feel bad, but he still loves to jump in the truck and go anywhere I am going. I have been thinking of some sort of systemt to strap him in some yet still let him move around in the car while driving.
