I agree with you, that is total bullshit. Especially since the gut they are honoring died fighting for his country. I mean give me break, he quit a high paying career to do it even. How many people do you know would have done that? I don’t think I know any.

I guess the league is afraid that some players will use their helmets as billboards like boxers do on their backs and trunks and get big bucks for the space. But yeah, they ought to allow tributes, they allow black arm bands and such when someone well known in their sport dies. Just politics, as usual. Really stupid. He ought to put one on the outside of each shoe or something, maybe they haven't banned that yet. Fucking morons. BB
