This is a set up. The republicans found out they were gonna lose the state of Washington so they made Mt St. Helens erupt.

There are places up here where you can see 5 volcanoes at once. Definitely spectacular but you have to respect nature.

Its the damn pteradactyls and T-rexes that are bothersome.:D

the cascades volcano observatory, where all the monitoring is taking place by the USGS personel, is literally across the street from my gym and has been hounded by tv news trucks for the last week. i'm good friends w/ some of the people who work there, but mount st. helens is 50 miles north and there are no significant towns within 30 miles of it due to the surrounding area now being a national park. the only way it'll do significant damage to populated areas is if the wind blows all that shit towards us, then you can count on cars stalling, paint jobs being ruined, local businesses having to shut down, and asthma and bronchitis cases going through the roof. it should be a good show, but i'm not too worried. now if mt. ranier went off... holy shit that would take out a good portion of the sea/tac area... something to think about Gary!
i'll have my camera out with me, but have no intention of being within the 10 or so miles near it where some people are actually camping out hoping to witness it, some with their children and pets etc...
