    is it just me, or dos your whole body look softer when your cold?

    muscles are about 70%water, blood is lots of water, less blood equals less filled muscles equals softer look.

      What about dehydration? I get dried out faster in the winter than in the summer with the same water consumption.

          cuz the winter is dry air. that is why lips chap so easily in cold weather, no moisture in the air. If there is 100% humidity in the summer your body has no place to put the moisture so it stays in you.

            dont u just hate it when ur in the gym and u feel like a superman pumped as hell, but hours later, the softer side.:( I wish i could be pumped 24/7:)

              That's why they have a pump up area backstage at bodybuilding shows- to pump blood into muscles to look bigger and more defined. Blood in muscles and at suface = heat. So, warm is good for showing off :cool:
