......and you didnt pump your own gas...they pumped it for you, checked your oil and cleaned your windshield also......I remember ALL that shit.........and picking up bottles on sat. morning and getting a nickel a piece for them......then buying me a drink and a pack of smokes and digging worms to go fishing.......

A nickel for a soda bottle! Showing my age again, I used to only get 2 cents. Of course, the sodas were only 6 cents. Yup, in the machines you needed a nickel AND A PENNY. You could get a Baby Ruth candy bar that was about 10" long for a nickel. Again, showing my age. By the way, gas was like 19 cents/gallon. DAMN, I AM OLD, LOL!!BB
