Houston-St.Louis 'Over' 10.5
I swear I would never touch the first game of this series but this play is calling my name. I'm not sure what to do with it but I'll show some balls and go big on this play. Here a few reason why I really like this play...
-Yeah yeah Backe is great, he's got great stuff but this is the 3rd time around for St. Louis and this time they aren't going to misfire.
-Walker has not faced Backe, Womack is 3 for 4 lifetime, Pujols is 2 for 5 lifetime. So I assume top 3 hitters reach base on several occasions. Always trouble for pitchers.
-The Astros 9 projected starters are batting a combined .282 lifetime versus Woody Williams.
-Woody Williams was tagged for 15 ER's IN 15 INNINGS IN THREE STARTS VERSUS HOUSTON THIS SEASON!!!
-In five road starts, Backe's ERA is 6.52 and he has been tagged for 21 ER's.
-The Killer Bees have been hitting everything in site and I expect Beltran to improve on his 1 for 11 lifetime record versus Woody.
-Backe is starting a series of this magnitude??? 26 years old?
I think there will be a ton of runs and in the end, probably more on the RedBird side of things. I will also make a play on the Cards.
