True- Libertarian does not mean Liberal. To me, a libertarian should expect the gov. to uphold ALL of our constitutional rights, not just whatever is popular at the time. For instance, Kerry has voted against our right to keep and bear arms 51 times in his Senate career. Bush has the Patriot Act, which scares the hell out me. A good Libertarian candidate would uphold the Bill of Rights much better than our 2 current choices.Originally posted by stonecold54
Libertarian doesn't mean that liberals would vote for them. Try and do some research before your post. If people voted for libertarian they would take more Rep votes than democrat.

he is getting my vote.
Bush and Kerry are both rich ass liars. They have been into politics since the 70's.
If the media would not twist the facts and let Nader's voice be heared alot more people would vote for him. But the big money donations (buy outs) go to bush and kerry.

Looking at the two candidates, I'm glad I'm Canadian...although I think that most of the free world is better off with Bush than Kerry...only because Democrats are way too damn soft to deal with terrorism effectively. The only way to deal with terrorists is to hunt them down and kill them, and to lean on the countries that harbor and sponsor them with the threat of war; diplomacy is not an option.
