Oh shit... Hopefully these freaks prove me wrong and I see some happy beantowners. They deserve it since it's the only game they will win in this series. Here are a few reason I like the BongSox in this one...
-Bronson Arroyo is in full Jamaican style with his hair. Myth has it that he smoked a little too much ganja while listening to Bob Marley and surfing with spider monkeys in Malaysia. Whatever that means, I like it!
-The Yankees 9 projected starters for this game are batting a combined .265 lifetime versus Arroyo.
-The Red Sox 9 projected starters for this game are batting a combined .308 lifetime versus Kevin Brown.
-Arroyo started four games against the Yankees this season and although he didn't win any, the Red Sox went 4-0 in those games.
-Kevin Brown's back is bad...we all know it and don't be shocked if he pulls a bullshit Schilling excuse and leave early.
-Joe Torre will not use Tom Gordon or Mariano Rivera in this game, NO MATTER WHAT! THEY ARE BOTH OUT OF THE QUESTION! That leaves Paul Quantrill, Tanyon Sturtze and Felix Heredia (all ex-Jays and they all suck)
-I'm having bean and cheese burritos for dinner...good omen?
-Jeter, Sheffield and Posada are a combined 7 for 39 (.179) lifetime versus Arroyo.
-Anyone else think Manny Ramirez is a TIME BOMB WAITING TO EXPLODE???
-Umpire Herschbeck is an asshole and only likes home teams
-We go from the zoo to the Fenway...big change for some Yankees.
