This movie was pretty damn funny. Much more than expected. I really like the crazy hermit crab that lived in a dumpster.

That's strange, but I saw it and felt like quite a few ethnic backgrounds were addressed, not only blacks. What show on HBO? Just curious what show said that, like to catch a re-run of that. If they meant something about the slang, stereotypical wanksta crap, it was there, but not enough for me to consider it "geared for African Americans."Originally posted by Turbo3000
Don't let this piss anyone off.
I heard that it was kinda geared toward African-American children. I don't who it is geared toward, I will watch it on HBO when it comes out. I was just curious to if that was true.
It was funny and I laughed my ass off with my daughter...

I think most movie cartoons are geared for adults because kids just like to see cute characters and slapstick humor. but ever since bugs bunny the themes in cartoons are very adult, LOL. just no one realizes. just think bugs bunny was cross dressing well before it was acceptable in society. :rofl:Originally posted by Puddles
I love how some of the movies they're doing for kids can be enjoyed by adults just as much. We'll definitely go see this one.

I have some old WWII era looney tunes shows that are racy as hell. I typically show a couple to my students to focus on propaganda during WWII.I think most movie cartoons are geared for adults because kids just like to see cute characters and slapstick humor. but ever since bugs bunny the themes in cartoons are very adult, LOL. just no one realizes. just think bugs bunny was cross dressing well before it was acceptable in society
