One thing about the Sony I have that is a bit annoying is the size. I'd like to get another camera that's smaller so it'll fit in my purse. Sony makes a thin one now that's affordable. I got my camera a few years ago and they thin ones were just too pricey then.

We have a Konica Minolta Dimage Xg. Its a little bigger then a credit card and a little thiner then a deck of cards. Takes pretty nice pics too..

I have a Finepix F401, bought two years ago. Its much less than all the current camera resolutions, at only 2.1 Megapixel, but you have seen my holiday photos. It does the job bloody well. Maybe my only complaint is that on zooming, things start to blur a little bit. The user interface is also very good, and the camera is incredibly stylish. I reckon you can probably pick this camera up for $100-$150 now. If you're looking for a camera just to give you crisp pictures without an over the top resolution and therefore price, I recommend this one.....

I am looking to spend around 200-250 so whatever is tops in that price range. I have to buy a new computer too otherwise i would get a higher end one.

Digital camera's, my speciality! :D Bad news, is you won't buy a good camera for $200- 250. Good news is, go ahead and spend more, it'll be worth it! lol

Ok, honestly there are no good camera's for $250. So i'll give you some idea of ones that are only alittle higher priced. Remember before making your final descion to check www.DPreview.com for the the review. DPreview is the best site on the net for digital camera's and elaborate reviews. Personally I'd either buy Canon or Sony. The drawback with all sony's are that memory for sony are alot higher compared to Canon. All the camera's I listed are under $400 except for the Sony T1.

This is a shot I took with my old Sony F717 awhile back (It was my first digital camera). Its a very good camera but its not compact. Its around $415 right now. Maybe someday i'll get brave and post my good stuff later with my new camera. lol

SC, This is what my mother has and it takes AWESOME pictures, she gave like $600 for it, but that was also coming from Circuit City I think and it was about a year ago, but all the pictures she has taken with it have great detail and clarity.
