Limewire is the best. Only thing is they have a shared folder that you download to and if those files aren't moved to a different folder they can ping that folder and you can get busted. You're allowed to download music, but sharing is illegal.

Psyko, Some computer programmer explained it me that way.

See you can download the music, but once it's in the shared folder that's where they can ping that folder and somehow bust you for supposedly "sharing" the music. Which doesn't make sense because yes you can download it so it has to be shared. Duh.

It doesn't make much sense to me either, but he insited that it is illegal to share music and to move the files out of that folder once the song is dowloaded. If it is true, then I didn't want the guy to start downloading and get into trouble. Better safe than sorry.

Also Suprnova.org is excellent. You can download programs and a whole lot more on that site. I prefer Limewire for music however.

The new versions of Kazaa also download adware spyware onto your computer which will run in the background and slow your computer down tremendously, not to mention you'll get pop-ups like a mofo. I don't recommend anyone uses that POS program anyways.

I use Ares and it is great. I got a lot of New Japan vids form there. The only problem that I have seen is that ares and any messenger conflict and take up way too much memory.

I asked a professional for you and he said that you're allowed to download either 1,000 songs or 1,000 minutes of songs (one or the other, he couldn't remember) legally and then it becomes illegal to download any more than that.
Just make yourself a new folder and then transfer your downloaded songs out of the folder it originally dowloads to (the one that is shared out of) to the new folder before you get too many.
