"Saw".....the movie

Went and watched "Saw" this weekend with my gf! Not bad, but not great either! It had me on the edge of my seat most of the time but towards the end I wasn't as interested. Pretty predictable in some parts and at the end Cary Elwes looks pasty and over-acts horribly! I think I would have enjoyed it more if the people around us had been a little more quiet! A lot of fucking teenyboppers were there and the guys all had to mouth off at times and the girls were all acting scared! Should have known better than to go on the opening weekend!

Anybody else see it?

Thanks for posting, I wanted to see it ever since the preview disk came with the Punisher DVD.

I thought it was like a Seven (the movie) or silence of the lambs type.

that is why I either go to the matinee or I wait until it has been out for a couple of weeks. I work with kids all day and I have need to be around them when I am not at work.

Decent flic. Terrible acting and shallow story line, but still worth renting. It was better than The Grudge but that isn't saying much.

It was decent. I enjoyed the ending and I liked the idea behind the story. That guy over-acted a lot. He needs to work on that.

I thought it was a very clever idea and enjoyed it for the most part. They could have picked a better actor to play the part of the family dad guy though.

I saw it too and it had some very clever situations with the "games" he invented for each "player". It definitely is remeniscent of the movie "Seven", which I loved. I have to admit, the ending did throw me a curve, but as I pieced it together, there were alot of loose ends that did'nt make alot of sense.
