  • How 'bout my Auburn TIgers

I'm so jacked this season. The Iron Bowl is always a tough game, but I just can't see how we can lose. If we win out this season... how do you think it'll play out. I mean I know you people are from all over and have pride in your conferences as well, but how can you deny a championship to an undefeated SEC Champion? It's going to be interesting how the polls look if Auburn wins out this season.

Auburn looked REAL good on saturday. They moved into MY number 1 ranking. I see the BCS games as such:

            Orange -- USC versus Auburn
            Fiesta -- Utah versus Oklahoma
Sugar -- Boston College versus Miami
            Rose -- Cal versus Michigan

I agree w/ you tinfish. Honestly I believe the only reason USC is #1 is b/c they started there in the first place

USC doesn't have a tough schedule at all. i'm a big lsu fan, but since they don't really have a chance at winning it all i'm pulling for auburn, i like cadillac williams and ronnie brown. you stick usc in the sec and they are not #1 i can promise ya.

i agree... they've kinda been left out of the who's #2 campaign... but who's to say they're not the #3. They're in a super easy conference for the most part, they don't crush their opponents, their guys rarely make hilight reels. What's so great about USC? I stand unamazed.

Man I feel for you it looks like even if you win out you wont make the championship game....that is why we need a playoff format.

There is a whole story behind the war eagle. Auburn - The Plains was an indian reservation. The war eagle is a war cry. It's called heritage.

Anyway, did everyone here about the dumb ass comment Bob Stoops made about ESPN favoring SEC schools because of their contract to televise games. This has to be the dumbest shit I've ever heard. I guess Stoops doesn't realize that ESPN is owned by ABC, which broadcast as many Oklahoma games as you can stand. What an idiot!!!!

If their heritage is the war eagle then why go by fighting tigers?

First off, its not fighting tigers its just tigers. Its just a mascot.
                              “War Eagle”
Auburn’s battle cry, not Auburn’s nickname. There are several legends concerning the origin of the War Eagle battle cry, dating back to 1864 and the Civil War at the Battle of the Wilderness in Virginia.
