you're right rude... the fans caused the problem. had that bottle not been thrown, artest would have laid there on the announcer's table until he was thrown out of the game. The fans were absolutely ridiculous and I hope to see alot of arrests.

on that note; did you all hear about the University of Nebraska football player getting assult charges after he laid out a taunting Oklahoma fan? The fans are out of control, way to close to the sideline action. What the fuck do you think is gonna happen. hes gonna smile and blow kisses. Fuck no he's not, like the UN football player he is 6'5 350lbs. He sure and the hell isn't gonna give you a hug. A good majority of the problems are caused by inconsiderate, rude fans when is this shit gonna stop.

And Artest laying on the anouncer's table is a good thing? What the hell is that? OH does Ron make the rules now. Go back to your bench you animal. Here is the deal. If Artest stays on the court (like he is suppose to) we would not be talking about this, period, end of story. Here is what a normal rational professional player is suppose to do. First of all not lay on the freaking anouncer table. Then tell security who did it and have them escorted out of the stadium. No riot no nothing.

Agreed bro. Those fans were so gutless throwing drinks at the players from the stands. And I really hope they are arrested for the pussies they are

You tell me what you would do then. You nearly get in a fight and your already extreamlly heated and pissed off. Then some idiot guy that doesnt know you throws a drink in your face, can you honestly say, you woudnt have acted in a similar way?

If a fight breaks out in any other public place the police would be all over everyone, tackling people and making arrests. Not the real cool NBA players. Basketball sucks anyway.

Not a chance I'd go into the stands and act that way. You just know that the minute you cross the threshold of the floor, you've entered a zone where you can't win in court. He can bitch and complain about the drink being thrown, but the PROPER response is to point the fan out to security and have him tossed....as MANY players have done in sports over the years.

agreed - they keep putting the fans closer and closer to the players because they can jack up the prices of those tickets - but now we continue to have confrontations between the fans and the players - personally I think the players should take the taunting with a grain of salt.

But, I must say, anything above and beyond, like throwing a drink at a player would cause me to lose my cool too!

when your getting paid the amount those players are getting paid you should not act like a bunch of kids. the suspension for the rest of the season serves them right.
