Going on a cruise again..

I'm excited as well - I can't WAIT to jump on the ship - I'm going to the Carribean late January - early February .. Just need to get as cut as I possibly can by then - i wanna look damn good on the cruise and have a hell of a good time. I've never been on one before - so i'm sooo EXCITED!!!!

Cruises sound like fun...but...I have a bit of an irrational fear of the open ocean. I'm fine on rivers and lakes...and even fishing in the ocean as long as I can still see the shore. But, once I'm surrounded by water, I get nervous. On the ferry from Vancouver to Victoria, I was anxious as all hell. Silly, eh?

if you're afraid of being surrounded only by water - cruising isn't for you. once you leave shore - it's amazing. it's just you, the water, the ship, and 2000 other ppl :P

with so many people and so many things to do - there's really no time to think about not seeing land. you really should try it :D

Well Bouncer - I'm going on Royal Carribean - so I wont be seeing you on the ship but have a good time - I'm lookin forward to my trip - I fkn hate the cold days and I'm sure I'm not gonna wanna come back until the cold breaks!

We saw that ship in port when we were in Miami. Its a HUGE ship. The one disadavantage to such a big ship is it takes so long when getting off the ship at the islands.

well - tickets are booked - now i have to find a way to get down to FL ..lookin for the cheapest rates - probably leave from PHilly - to get to miami a couple of days early - 3000 peeps is allot of peep

Not sure.

Not sure if Spirit is flying or not, but to get to FL you can't beat them. Leaves from AC and flies into West Palm. Usually 70 bucks each way (or so, most I have ever paid was 90).

The reason I recomemnend this flight is that you won't have to deal with any big airports. AC is a joke, its like a bus terminal. WPB is bigger, but nothing like Philly, FTL, or Miami.

Just a suggestion. I have made that flight probably 5-6 times in the past year and loved it every time (well, as much as you can love a flight).

thanks puma -- i've discussed this with the people im going with - and they are just uncomfdortable about small airlines -- oh well looks like its either gonna be JFK/EWK/PHL/LGA - --- thanks anyway!
