total BS... Artest may be a dirty player, but he didn't start that fight nor did he deserve that sort of punishment for it when Ben Wallace got a lousy 6 game suspension. The Pacers are done for the season w/ those guys being out for that # of games. I think that move was totally wrong and uncalled for... if anything they should be putting those fans behind bars.

You are right. Artest didn't start the fight but what he did do was go into the stands and start fights with the fans. That is unacceptable by any means. He should have kept his ass on the scorer's table. Things were setteling down until he went off into the crowd.

I think all parties involved got what they deserved. Players will think twice about going into the stands now.

What really gets me though is the suspenions without pay. Staggering to say the least.

Well at least Artest will have time to work on his record now.
