Alexander the great movie

Just wondering if anybody saw that Alexander movie today & what you thought of it.....Im into all that history crap so I figured I would like it but, Ive heard either it sucks ass or is movie of the year...

I might try to see it this weekend. Being a history teacher, I really hate to see these types of movies becasue I try to pick out anything that might be missed instead of enjoying the film. I must say that producers try to make their films as historically accurate as possible nowadays so I know this will be better than the 1960's version.

I enjoyed Troy more than I thought I would, so I'll definately give Alexander a chance.

my sister and her husband saw it and they said that they went into for about 1 hr. of the 3 hrs. about how alexander was homosexual and there was a lot of male on male scenes. My sisters husband said he had a hard time sitting through that, and they said the women behind them in the theater were disgusted with it all.

I didn't see it, so I'm only relaying what they told me...

My wife and I went the dayt after Turkey day, and all the Homo crap was too much for us. My wife was all creeaped out! I was too. The fighting and action stuff was great though.

i saw it... Troy was a way better movie.. way too much homosexual shit.. and i think they did a crappy job of portraying alexander... at the end u didnt really care that he died
