I'm getting ready for NYE now! The Jarhead helped me get the basics down for building our bar, we measured, cut the wood, drilled pilot holes, drove the screws in while Betty P and Stromba sat and BS and made us a drink or two. Tonight I finally worked on it some more, took the glass shelves down and switched out the screws for flat heads, covered everything with wood putty, tomorrow it'll be dry and I can sand and start painting. It'll be ready for New Years and we can break it in good. Can't wait to see everyone! :D

OMG...you are a riot! Truthful, but funny! I explained to Ducky that all of my friends have dogs but most of them don't get along with other dogs so she reserved the dog spot for NYE since she knows she's not driving home.


But Rock's dog knows he's got the spot for Christmas...along with the girraffe and ellephant. LOL

Last Christmas morning was the absolute best..gotta see if we got it on tape...Rock's dog went off on a leather girraffe that Stromba got me for Christmas to go with the leather elephant. Stromba brings it in and the dog starts barking, growling, sniffing, creaping up to it, backing off...I laid the fake animal down and the dog got a bit bolder...we finally had to take it and put it in the garage for a while, the dog would have torn it to pieces, he hated the thing. Now he's learned that it's not real and ignores it but that morning was such a riot!
