        It would kill my workouts if I had it right before I went in to the gym but I don't think it has any effect if you are getting enough rest and food.

                  Only if it's right before a workout. But I think I heard someone say something awhile back that sex actually got certain chemicals flowing that helped with muscle growth.

                    I reckon you can do whatever you like outside the gym sexwise, and still get a great workout. The trick is when you get to the gym, forget all thats gone on and going on around you and focus.....

                      sex can seem to drain your energy but to have high libido is to have high test levels.so relish in this, when your 60 your output of banging chicks will deffantly be out of the question.

                        none bro. as a matter of fact if you're really serious about lifting then you should begin practicing abstinence. hell none of us on here are getting any but we can all bench press a truck. it's a lifestyle it takes discipline. you either want it bad enough or you don't.

                          I don't know where you get that notion from. Just because you're getting old will not detract as to how horny you get, as long as you stay in shape and do HRT if necessary. Hell, I'm 57 and still stay as horny as a goat in a herd of sheep, CONSTANTLY. The only difference being: 1- It takes me much longer to finish, (orgasm), which is great for the girl. 2- It takes maybe an hour to recover before I can go again, as opposed to 15 minutes or so when I was younger. 3- My ejaculate is not as much as when I was younger. Other than that, everything else is the same. One thing for sure, when I was younger, I had to concentrate very hard not to pop too early, now, after about 30 minutes, I have to concentrate to get to the finish line. Don't buy into sex being over when you get some age on you. It's just not so. BB

                              Thanks. One thing's for sure, if I hadn't been training for the last 27 years, I could not do it now. Weight training is the closest thing to the "fountain of youth" there is. Think young, train young, act young, and you'll always be young, in mind and body. BB
