Well my Packers looked awful today. I really wasn't expecting them to win anyways. This way they got it out of there system and not to a team that they should have beat.

Damn, you really have no clue about football. Farve has nothing to do with the eagles scoring 47 points. He had an off day, it happens.Originally posted by bad14u
Defense was a complete mess! Nobody knew what they were doing! Favre.....well all streaks must come to an end and I think he needs to go on and retire!

Shibby...say what you must if it makes you feel better! I may not know everything about football but I do know when a player has passed his prime!Originally posted by Shibby

Thanks for pointing out the obvious Buc! Shibby and I have had this discussion before and IMO opinion he needs to hang it up before he starts having bad days every gameday!Originally posted by buccaneer19
he was just talking about his streak ending, not the eagles scoring 47 points

Yes ..... I know nothing! What I DO know is that Favre ranks 7th on the list for passing yards, he has thrown 13 interceptions, he has only thrown 22 touchdowns and he is 9th in the QB rating! I am pretty sure that in the years before now his stats were better and have gradually took a decline in the recent past few years! I will agree that he should be or could be the face of the NFL but he needs to go out while he still has face value!Originally posted by Shibby
No he keeps saying farve should retire. He obviously knows nothing about it. No one can play the game like he does. Has one of the top passer ratings and is "The face of what the NFL should be" (John Madden)

Yes, and Payton is number one and Brady is 11, but you still think Brady is the best QB. Farve is also 5th for most completions 258 and 6th for most attempts at 404. Culpepper has 10 and Payton has 9 int. So as logic would show, the more pass attempts there are, the more chances for int's.Last edited by Shibby; 12-07-04, 12:03 PM.

I will repeat this one last time...just so you understand....Shibby! IMHO I believe Favre should retire. He has been in the league 14 years and he is not the Favre that people once knew! IMHO he not capable of playing the way he use to and IMHO I believe he will only get worse....but hey....that is just my opion! Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and just about everybody thinks everyone elses stinks!Originally posted by Shibby

I think Farve should retire too. I get that the Packers almost never lose because of something he did or failed to do, and that he's still better than a lot of NFL QBs, but I don't want to see him hang around too long and go out as an average player. Green Bay isn't a contender, and aren't likely to be one next year either...and there's nothing left for Farve to prove. He's done it all already.
