i agree that eli is doing horrible, but sana please, you have to understand how much better peyton manning makes the players around him. do you think brandon stokley would be as good if he weren't playing with peyton? he's a free agent after this year and he's taking a pay cut just so he can stay with peyton. and yes, the colts are going to pay peyton high dollar because any other team in the league would, and if peyton goes, the colts superbowl chances are going down the shitter. peyton may not see a superbowl because of the defense he has, not the greed. and for the record, tom brady threw for 6 yards on one completion his first year in the league. :D

first of all, stokley doesn't HAVE to take one, he can go somewhere else if he wants. he CHOSES to take one, because he said himself he would rather play with peyton over anybody else. now, as far as the greed thing, he deserves every penny just like bouncer said, because he's that good and he earned it. if the secondary could pick it up a little bit they will be just fine, maybe they need to work at their positions as well as peyton works at his. and why single peyton out about a paycut? what about marvin harrison? or edgerrian james?? mannings paycheck has nothing to do with the colts defense not living up to their potential, it's their own fault along with the defensive cordinator.
