  • Back Pain..

I woke up yesterday just fine, had my breakfast and had no problems. I got dressed and got ready to go to the gym. As soon as I start walking to my car I get pain in my back that almost takes your breath away if I stand in some positions. The pain is on the right hand side on the upper middle trap right about where the bottom of my lat is. What I dont understand is how I did this? I was find Monday morning for about 2 hours and then it just started hurting. It wasnt a pain that I woke up with.

I watched about 10 episodes of sponge bob square pants and 5 episodes of All in the family yesterday. This shit better go away soon.

I know that I have woke up fine and after a few hours have developed pains! Usually from the way I slept and after waking up and moving the muscle knotted up! Sounds like the same thing, to me! Usually takes a day or two to work itself out but if you have any muscle relaxers take one or two and have Sana try and rub it out for you!

I took a muscle relaxer yesterday and had a heating pad on it, it didnt seem to do much but it did seem to feel a bit better by night time. It dosent feel so good now though.

Tonight try alternating between hot and cold for 30 minutes to and hour and see how it feels! Cold first to take the swelling down then the heat to relax it! That should help it work itself out some if not all!

and what is this based on? haven't you seen that he's already having a hard time dealing with the overall psychological effects of coming off - no need to add a back strain - THAT COULD HAPPEN TO ANYONE AT ANYTIME - to a list of things that could potentially be because he came off. so please, shut up.

it has nothing to do with it.

more like what bad14u said - slept funny - kinked something.

I could see that if we were talking about aches and pains all over my body but this is a concentrated area in my back. I doubt very much that it has to do with AAS.

i've had this crap happen before too, and man is it painful. it probably has to do with sleeping on it wrong. i noticed it hurting pretty bad one day, then when i went to the gym later that night to work shoulders, right in the middle of my 1st set of standing bent over flyes BAM my back just locked and knocked my breath right out of me. i just dropped the weights and laid there in pain for like 15 minutes to see if it'd get better and it didn't so i just went home. in a couple of days though it went away and i felt fine.

Sorry, my previous answer was a bit curt.

Please let me expand on my answer; I do personally notice that, when coming off AAS, in addittion to aches and pains around my joints (which are always temporary), I get a more frequent occurence of cramps and trapped nerve type pains. This seems to resolve itself after a while and I believe it may be attributable to a rebalancing of fluid/electrolyte/salts retention in the body.

In any case, I have had similar pains and think that plenty of fluids, warmth and perhaps some potasium would help.

Bounce, keep up the good work!

                      thank u.

i don't want to be a bitch, but i just don't want people adding anymore to the laundry list of things that are "negative" when you're off. it makes it even harder than it is to make it through the first few months.

Bouncer, I did that about two weeks ago. Did it while I was in the gym DOING CURLS! Just tweaked something the wrong way and pulled my lower trap. You may have tweaked it or slept wrong.

btw, realize that you're heavier now than you've been before. all that weight shifts like you're not used to when you're sleeping.
