  • Colonic

There, in the right Thread section now.

Given our chosen sport, our diets are generally packed with meat and other food stuffs that probably take longer to digest than the time we wait until our next serving of the same food type.

Lately I have considered having 'a colonic' as I believe its called. Has anyone else had one and if so what did it do for you?

And please, this is a serious question!

I do a colon cleanse every January. Its nasty once it starts to work but it will clean you and make you feel better once it is over. Be ready though and start it on a weekend so you are close to the bathroom once it hits ya, that way you can judge how it will affect you.

    PD

I think I would rather just eat more fiber and drink more water than have a water hose shoved up my ass. With the exception of that one time on vacation in Thailand, but that's different.

I hear you Deca, but they say you can finish up as a middle aged man with literally pounds of undigested meat up there, huffing and puffing and squeezing just isn't enough. And undigested matter would sureley increase the risk of bowel cancer.

All hell no, Aint no hose going up my cheeks bru, what I mean by a colon cleanse is to buy some herbal products that you ingest orally ( that didnit come out right) and it will clean you out from the inside. You can clean yourself out going through the rectum.
Besides that is just plum nasty

"Most people have 5-10 pounds of matter stored in their Colon... According to autopsies, John Wayne had 40 lbs and Elvis had 60 lbs."
Reported in the January 11, 1999 issue of USA Today

Absolutely, yes. Your colon is like a snake, like a python, when it fills up, it expands. Laxatives don't get everything out of there especially the stuff that is packed in on the walls of your colon. I'm a firm believer in colonics and i've experienced them first hand, I felt great afterwards. Here is a good website to read:

Also they have this clear tube and you can watch everything that comes out. I didn't really eat anything for the few days leading up to my colonic, so I knew there wasn't much in there, but man was I surprised when I saw how much stuff came out.

Also I saw worms and all kinds of shit come out of there. It freaked me out but they told me 90% of people have all sorts of worms and parasites in their colon and small intestines, so if I didn't have any parasites in there it would have been rare. Also laxatives don't flush out the parasites, they can grab onto the walls of your intestines and can hang on.

i'll live with my parasites. there's a reason they're there - just like all the anti-bacterial soaps, eliminating too many bacterium from our surroundings makes us more liable to get sick. i would imagine that eliminating or upsetting the natural balance of bacterium and or natural parasites that live symbiotically within your system might truly do you more harm than good.

lol - anyway - i still don't want anyone sticking a tube of water up my hiney.
