  • SM acting weird....

This forum is acting odd on my computer. When I first load the site, I can already see my name on the list of members on the forums, before I log in. Once I log in it says "No new messages since your last visit." When I go to specific forums I see plenty of messages I haven't yet seen, but their "envelope" icons are darkened as if I'd already read them. Anyone know what's going on??

It sounds like you're logged in somewhere else--or somebody else is using your login info!

You should sign out every time you leave the board to prevent someone else in your house from using your account. If it looks like it's still being accessed, then change your password and make sure it's not being stored by windows.

The site itself is running fine.

Exactly what happened to me, sometimes I would do my username/password about 4 times to get it working.

Usually when I log on I goto the "view new posts" link on the top of the main page. The link doesn't do shit if it thinks you read EVERY message, because then it doesn't think there are any new ones. Then I have to check each individual forum for messages.
