meh, remember his first year in the NBA? Thats what I remember. I kinda quit watching so if he's pulled himself together than thats great. Hopefully the new generation of up and coming pro ballers will follow suit. I think the veterans of the sport need to take a more active roll in mentoring the new guys.

Garnett? Are you sure? I have always viewed Garnett as the consummate professional - focuses on nothing but his career, always gives 110%, and really is single-minded in his focus on what he is supposed to do. I am always reminded of Shannon Sharpe when I think of Garnett - Sharpe once said in an interview that until he retires, he has no other focus in life. During every waking moment (and sleeping too, probably), everything he does - eating, training, playing, practice, etc. is about football. He does nothing that is not related to getting him a little better prepared for Sunday.
