OMG thats a huge mistake lol i loved the boxes the toys came in and i loved ripping them apart to get at my danm toy , if my mom would have set all thetoys up id be fn pissed and ruined xmass like a big brat ahahahah im jk but still rap them up in the boxes they came in so much better that way it plays more into the childs imagination.

Yep, did it the same way at my house except if it was something big like a bike or a Big Wheel or whatever those battery powered cars were called when we were kids.

we have the presents from us wrapped, just not the santa toys... they still get to rip open tons of presents.

If the toy is something that will require some assembly I would say put it together! Nothing worse than opening a present and not being able to play with for hours because you have to wait for it to be put together!
