I am suprised that it is 5:30pm and there has not been a Merry Christmas thread yet, so I am gonna break the ice.

I had a nice dinner and good wine. that is about all I ever want for a holiday. The only crappy thing is that we don't have a lick of snow yet so it doesn't really LOOK like christmas yet.

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Day with our family and friends. As our family has grown smaller over the last few years the holidays haven't been as merry as they once were but this year was much better as we had some family move down here from up north and we had friends and their family spend the holiday with us. Just being with the people we care about is what made this years Christmas much better. On Christmas Day we had about 30 people with us and at one point when I looked around and realized who all WAS here instead of focussing on who was no longer with us I got teary eyed with joy. It was the best Christmas Day in a few years. :)
