LOL It was Huuu-ja! We ended up with about 10-12" around here. Lake effect got us too. What sucked was the massive rain storm that suddenly turned into a world of ice just before the snow came in :mad:

LOL I notice you've got real icecicles <sp> on your roofline, here in FL we hang up fake ones made of lights.

we have icicle lights too, but we also get the real thing.

The white feather boa... actually I saw it in Better Homes & Gardens... it looks so soft and fluffy kind of like snow. We did it once and loved it. I was looking for something other than garland or tinsel because the cat I had was chewing on it and eating it and... well, you can guess the rest... so I saw the feathers and we tried it and the cat didn't bother it and we kind of liked it, so we still put it in the tree.

I'm surprised the cat ignores the feathers! My cat used to get all into the tree decorations but he's so old now I don't think he even noticed the tree this year.

What a weird word...icicle. LOL Couldn't for the life of me figure out how it was spelled!

Good looking kids!

We got 8" at my grandparents in Freeport Texas which is south of Galveston and about 5 minutes from the beach. Still had snow down there this morning three days later. For Texas that is crazy. I have never driven down to the beach and saw fields of solid white snow south of Houston.
