Auburn –6
These two teams are eerily similar. Both have great defenses, and SR Dual threat QBs leading the way. I’m going with Auburn in this one though because they will be playing with a bigger chip on their shoulder and Cambell has much better talent around him on offense especially the 1-2 punch at RB (Brown & Williams).
Other then Randall VT doesn’t have anyone that can really scare you on offense. Imoh or Humes at TB? Not really? No WR has more then 25 catches. They don’t have enough weapons against one of the most physical defenses in the country. Remember Randall has his worst pass completion rating this year since being at VT…you can attribute that to not having top flight wide-outs.
Cambell has been exceptional throwing for 19 TDs and only 6 INTs..it helps that he has two first round draft picks running the football behind him.
This should be a low scoring affair but quite frankly I haven’t been very impressed with the ACC this year and I just don’t think VT will be able to get it done on offense against this Tiger defense.
