  • Who's taking the Pats this weekend?

    A few stats:

    - Since ’93, the top seed has never been an underdog in either an AFC or NFC playoff game.

    - In a stretch that began with the two Championship games of January ‘00, the UNDERDOG has covered eight of the last 10 games of this round.

    - a team that has won 15 straight games is a 3 point dog at home...to a team that lost to a 2-12 team less than a month prior

    - Over the past seven seasons, the HOME TEAM owns a disturbing 6-8 SU record and an ATS mark of 4-9-1 in conference championship games.

I really don't feel like sitting threw another Patriots Superbowl game. Not that I don't like them...just would rather see some new teams make it.

If Rothlisberger doesn't play any better than last week, the Pats are a Dead Lock. Even if he does though, I think the Pats will win. BB

This is Rothlisberger's first time in the playoffs. He has trouble the first game but has not gotten a taste of it and won't be so shell shocked. The interceptions and fumble were very uncharistic of the Steelers, which led to the tough game. The Pats held the Colts to 3 points on a field that was very difficult for a team built on speed and the passing game. The steelers have alot of similarities as the Pats and can get it done on the ground also. Bulichick is a great coach and really knows how to work teams weakness and disrupts a teams strength. But they are without out 2 of there starting CB and a LB. With all this said, the weather permiting, home field advantage, I think the Steelers will win by... 8.

I'm not good at picking scores, so I just go with the number that fate first puts in my head :D

I think the Steelers are gonna wear the Patriots out by running up the gut. Steelers by 3 or 7.
