got one for my birthday and cant believe i did not get one a long time ago--

ground up a bunch of chicken breasts and the meat is now marinating -- going to make some 8 ounce patties -- i got tired of eating the breasts --

its also alot cheaper -- will buy my beef , pork, and chicken and grind it up -

going to be a meatgrinding motherfucker lol

Dude, I've never thought of that, but that's brilliant! Can you adjust how finely it's ground? I could have chicken burgers or buy lean red meat to make burgers. Do you know how much a decent grinder costs? How hard was it to clean after you used it?

A meat grinder, food scale and George Foreman grill are all essential for bodybuilders in my opinion :)

I have one that attaches to my KitchenAid mixer. I used to grind steaks up for burgers all the time. I have an extra one my mom just gave me too. Gonna sell it on ebay.

Are there blades for food processors that'll do the same thing?

Not that I know of. Food processors are great for chopping up but not really grinding. Although, I did use my food processor to chop up some raw chicken breast into a paste, I was making some Chinese steamed dumplings and they were fantastic. :)

I love to cook and I love to eat. Wish I had the genetics that supported this better. LOL

So, I'm looking to buy a meat griner now. Anybody have any particular features or brands they like or would recommend? Also, what kind of steak do you grind for burger?
