  • MIKE TYSON GEARING UP FOR ANOTHER COMEBACK!

Bros, visited Tyson's website www.tysontalk.com. Mike Tyson has a new trainer and is training for another comeback, what will happen? who knows.......
His trainer was talking that he has the stuff to beat Klitchsko, Also his trainer said he could win a tittle, there were rumors that he was depressed and doing cocaine following his loss against Danny Williams, he has since pulled himself together for another run at the tittle!

I think Klitchko will pick him apart....the only heavyweight I think he can beat at this point might be Ruiz.

Nice to hear from you hitmansb. I think he can only beat Ruiz at this point of his career. Let's make this thread more interesting and invite: MR. INCREDIBLE, & BONEBREAKER for their respectful inputs.

Hee, hee, hee, can't get enough can you big boy, lol. You know, I wish he would fight Ruiz, he would get so damn mad, he might start gnawing ears again. Ruiz, IMHO, sucks as a fighter. All he does is hold, yeah, yeah, I know, all's fair in love and war, (and boxing), but I can't stand to see that crap from any fighter. Really, I don't think Tyson could be patient enough with Ruiz, I think Ruiz would make him lose his temper. Klitchsko is too big and has a very good and stiff jab, plus MUCH power. However, his chin is suspect at times. Tyson had better start with some nobodies first, he may not say so, but he has not had any confidence in a long time, and may never have again. And frankly, He is a BIG DRAW and I think he's only in it for the $$$. BB

Nice to hear from you brother! I also think Tyson's confidence has been shot for a while, right after the loss to Lewis he was like a different person, talking like a guy who's had enough of the game to Jim Lampley in his dressing room. I think his biggest problem at this point is confidence. He should start at the very bottom again with no namers and build up again, if he can at this point of his career. Do you buy into the idea of him using cocaine in recent months? that's what friends close to him said to the media. From here on it's all about $$$$.

I think if you knew the real truth about many athletes, in all sports, you'd be surprised how many use "recreational" drugs. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Tyson was using Coke, powdered or crack, or even Heroin and God only knows what else. But again, it's not unusual in athletes, or regular Joe's. I do know that the boxing commissions test boxers, closely, and do pre and post piss tests. He could have been using Coke or something else which quickly gets out of the body, unlike Pot. So, he could have been using and stopped long enough before the tests for it not to show. Again, it's all about the $$$ for him now. He probably doesn't care if he wins or loses as long as he gets paid. Hell, I know I would, and probably many people you know, get in the ring, and try like hell, with a top heavyweight for a couple million bucks. So what if you got your ass kicked, which would probably happen, you got a nice payday. BB

Bro his fight with Golota was declared a no contest, after testing positive for weed. He beat Golota, because Golota quit!

Really? I must have missed that one. But it shows that they do indeed test. BB

Thanks for the invite, Breaker is right Tyson is a big draw and what he should do is to get some experience back in the ring, we all know what he was at his best, but his trainers since custmata seem to lack intelligence in the way they pick opponents.

Historically they throw him in with big guys when he's been out of the ring a long time, or at least don't give him enough beatable opponents before giving him a mountain too high if you catch my drift.

Putting him in with Klitchsko would be down right cruel at the moment, he needs to be fighting guys of similar weight, height and reach, the problem is that there arn't many! Tyson has always punched above and beyond his statistics would suggest possible.

If his trainer is worth his salt he'le get Tyson some mediocre sluggers for a while, the crowds will come and money will flow.

Mohamed Ali said in an interview a couple of years back that he though Tyson would one day become champion again, who are we to argue? even if the guy has health problems?

One thing is for sure if Tyson put a good clean combo in on Klitchsko, including one of his uppercuts (which is entirely possible as the big fella leans over to look down on Tyson) then he's going back to the Ukraine seeing stars, and without his belt!

But that day is some way off yet and personally it doesn't bother me if Tyson never took the fight, Tyson, as a fighter wore his heart on his sleeve and has proved himself as a boxer and in my view will always outshine most boxers careers.

Nice to have you in here brother. Very nice perspective on things "INCREDIBLE I MIGHT SAY". It is amazing that a guy of Tyson's stature can punch with great power like that among the biggest in the game. Do you think his punch is the most powerfull in history? who would you say punches harder Lennox Lewis or Mike Tyson? I miss the left hook he had in his prime when he would pivot his foot and then hook! Is it true he has been taking shortcuts from training, not training the way he did in his prime? The media always harpes on the intensity or lack their of, regarding his training during his camps, If so why does he always come in ripped?

He's not the most powerful puncher but he was one of the quickest, explosive punchers and his technique and instinct allowed him to catch opponents unexpectedly and shock them with quick changes in direction. Its not so much about getting hit hard, its getting hit unexpectedly and from different directions that knocks you out, thats what he did so well.

In terms of training, he needs it to try and keep fitness as he's getting older, that's cardiovascular fitness and endurence I mean. One problem that is apparent of late is that he seems explosive for a round or two then begins to loose his impact on fights and thats a clear result of lacking endurance fitness.

In terms of his physique, yes he always looks ripped and muscular, well that what years on the weights and heavy bag does I suppose, but that doesn't win fights, you can bench 500lb and look like arnie but if you cant land the punch due to tiredness then it worth jack.

In terms of physique him and Holyfield both have well balanced great physiques, well your muscular density supposedly hits its peak at 35 years old and from there only disipates through diminishing hormone levels (GH and test), so with a few majic sweeties you can go on, well until arthritis and failing cardiovascular let you down.

Speaking of Tyson, I think we should have concern for Holyfield, that guy is gonna finish up like Ali if he doesn't stop.

Bro, Holyfield is on his way to being a vegetable, you can see the early symptoms now. He must have a huge heart to continue fighting seeing his condition now and knowing the outcome if he continues. The man fought wars against Bowe, Lewis, Tyson and so much more. I take my hat off to him!

maybe they can dig up Peter Mcneally and he can start there.

He turned into a crack addict after the first Tyson fight, and went down hill from there, he sort of made a comeback but nothing spectacular, turns out alcoholism runs in the family, especially his father as I read a boxing magazine regarding the whole family's life. I don't know for some reason boxer's wind up going downhill in life, after their careers are over. Lennox Lewis is one of the few who retired on top and with his wealth and health intact!
