It is amazing that a guy of Tyson's stature can punch with great power like that among the biggest in the game. Do you think his punch is the most powerfull in history? who would you say punches harder Lennox Lewis or Mike Tyson? I miss the left hook he had in his prime when he would pivot his foot and then hook! Is it true he has been taking shortcuts from training, not training the way he did in his prime? The media always harpes on the intensity or lack their of, regarding his training during his camps, If so why does he always come in ripped?
The most powerful and devasting puncher in the heavyweight, or any other, division has to be Rocky Marciano. His favorite punch was the "heart punch". He would aim at his opponents chest and really let go, I don't know how many of his knockouts were from or the result of body punches, but I'll bet there were many.

    Heavyweight Champion 1952-1956
Rocky Marciano is the ONLY undefeated champion in ANY weight class in the history of gloved boxing. Considering how many champions there have been, somewhat over 300, that is quite a feat in itself.
But he also brought to boxing the kind of dignity and courage that makes us admire the truely great atheletes.

"What would be better than walking down any street in any city and knowing your're a champion?" he once asked.

"Rocky Marciano stood out like a rose in a garbage dump. "Jimmy Cannon said of The Rock's character in a sport that all too often is tainted by corruption and greed.

Jersey Joe Walcott, who lost his title to Marciano, said "He was a man of courage inside the ring. Outside, he was kind and gentle."
Rocky Marciano was the Heavyweight Champion from 1952 until his retirement in 1956. He is the only champion at any weight class with a perfect record of all wins, no losses and no draws. He was one of the greatest power punchers in boxing history, with an awesome 43 KOs in 49 fights.

    49-0-0
    (43 Knockouts)

He was, and always will be, "THE MAN", and what's really distinct, he only weighed 185-190lbs. BB
