  • I want time to stop now!!

I took a week off legs to let my back heal. I did a lot of squats, leg presses, leg extensions and curls last night. Usually it takes about 36hrs for my legs to really feel the pain and I'm already not hardly able to walk. I can't imagine how bad it's going to get--and I'm supposed to go to a taekwando class tonight! I can't imagine the agony that is going to be. Ahh, the life and pains of a bodybuilder. :D

    Embrace the pain!

Also, a good soak in a hot bath may provide a little relief tonight.

I'm just taking the mentality of I love pain. As my signature says, Pain is weakness leaving the body! :whip:
Unless, you're going to take a hot bath with me! :D

I just stood up--correction, tried to stand up--to go to lunch. I guess I'm not going anywhere! I haven't had an ache like this ever in my life. Looks like my only walking today is back and forth to the kitchen to eat my meals. :(

Ya gotta love it!!! I don't know why but when I don't start to feel any ache any more I feel kinda cheated... I know it is a mental thing and that muscle soreness doesn't translate into muscle growth, but for me it is something phychological....

But I do know what it feels like to take some time off and get back into it and really suffer the first week back.

Well...2 problems with that. 1 - We'd be pretty cramped in the tub and that won't do your legs much good and 2 - I doubt Stromba would approve. LOL

But, if you promise to behave, we could soak in the jacuzzi, it's got room for 8 and I'll the massage girl who makes housecalls. My back and shoulders are sore so I could use a little therapy myself.

I have a jacuzzi tub for two-the best of both worlds!

The jacuzzi in my bathroom is a garden tub...we've fit 2 in there...3 actually, but it's a tight squeeze.
