Well my girlfriend and I have been wondering if she was pregnant. So we went to the doctor on Tues and found out she is. The thought of it has always terrified me. But odly enough I am very excited about it. The only thing that worried me was telling my mom, but she was very cool with it and is supportive. Her support was very important to me and that means it will be one spoiled little grand-kid, lol. Well we go back to the doctor on Feb 7th and they will take a bunch of blood. It's estimated right now the the baby is due in the begining of Sept, but we will have a better idea after they check the blood.

Still about 5 more weeks before the gender can be determined I think. Havn't started thinking of names, but we are going to give it a Polish first name since the mother is polish and we feel it's improtant to aknowledge it's polish background here in the states.

Well if it does happen and your not financialy ready for it there is alot of state help out there. That's what we're having to do. Just go to you local Health Dept. on the days they offer pregnancy testing. There is a program called WIC that set's you up with all your prenatel and a delivery doctor appointments paid for. It also gives you some of the basic necesities neeeded. Stuff like vitamins for prenatal and formula during postnatal. Not sure of the details yet. We will know more after are next appointment.

maybe but the trade-off is worth more than any $$$ amount. Shibby congratulations. it may not be easy and you worries aren't just gonna go away but like you said there is help. my ex got help when my son was first born and it made it easier on us both. for now just focus on the hard part...............choosing a name ;)
