Even with the type of protection our business uses it can't detect them all the time. They have sent out warnings that anything saying "mail delivery....." was to be deleted then emptied out of the bin.

:cursin: Aarrrrrggh...wtf...I'm going nuts, these things won't stop. I've had over 300 today! I can't find anything on the web about it except that the last time something like this happend it was the SoBig virus. I just did a scan for that specifically but it wasn't on my pc. People really need to find a new outlet for their creativity and intelligence.

Are e-mails you're sending getting to where you sent them? If so are the persons getting your mail getting the Delivery subsystem message too. It sounds like your ISP is returning e-mails to you that can't be delivered, or it could be a virus or addware. BB

My in/out email is working fine. It is definitely a virus, but I can't find a damn thing on here.

The virus is spamming from your account. Is your email running on outlook, or are you running a web based email like hotmail? If you're using hotmail or something similar, then there is no virus on your pc, all that means is that someone got your hotmail password and are using your account to spam out emails, many of them getting returned, hence the mail delivery subsystem message.

Hell yeah, just checked again and not one bogus email. What an easy fix...thankfully. I was starting to think I would have to reformat, again. Keiser you da man.

One time my hotmail password got compromised and by doing so, they also got into my paypal account because i used the same password, so be careful if you use that same password with that email address at other places.

No one has to have your password for this to happen. Although changing your passwords often is a good idea.

If someone has your email intheir address book and they are infected with a spoofing email virus the virus picks a name from the address and uses it as the fron address. In other words someone you know as/had a virus and your address is now part of the spoof list.

These really do suck. I do network security for a living and we block over 10 million of these from coming in to our network a day.
