haha, yeah the no driving shit isn't cool. But I can drive to and from work. Then i'm stuck at home. There are some positives though, I save a ton of money by being stuck at home, keep miles off my car, save on gas money, etc... And I can use my time to do work, develop websites, business, etc.. on the internet. So, I think its a blessing in disguise for me. Plus my gf or my friends can drive me around if I need it.

Spyware can pull your email off of your computer, without you even knowing, that is part of the reason why people start getting porn emails and shit even when they don't go to those kind of site.

Here are some CRUCIAL steps to take, for anyone with an internet connection (especially a non-dialup)
1.) Download Ad-aware, from www.lavasoft.com, and run it weekly, the program is completely free.
2.) Have your anti-virus run weekly as well.
3.) Click 'Start' > Run > type "msconfig" > goto the last tab > uncheck anything that you don't recognize. None of the programs checked are crucial to windows running, however, some of them are programs like your anti-virus startup, stuff like that. Remove anything you don't think is important.
4.) Click 'Start' > 'Settings' > 'Control Panel' > Add/Remove Programs > Uninstall anything you don't use more than once or twice a year, and definitely anything you don't recognize.
        5.) Click 'Start' > 'Programs' > 'Accessories' > 'System tools' (i think) > Defrag.
6.) Block any email address that isn't on your "known" list of addresses you know. Then periodically check your junk mail and anythink that's not junk, put it on your known list of addresses.
7.) For god sake buy a firewall program, it will stop pop-ups. And I went 6 months without a single spyware program on my computer. When I uninstalled it, I had 460 spyware files within a week!

Ad-aware does work well but it's doesn't find everything.
          Use more than one program.
Other good ones are Hyjack-This and Spy-Bot

Spy Sweeper is really good too. The new M$ beta antispyware program sucks. It never finds shit.
